Intimacy With God

We dream of weekly worship gatherings where people of all ages and ethnicities will encounter God through language, music, art, and experiences that are an expression of who they are and who God is calling them to be. We envision worship where Jesus and His glory are the central focus, not us and our desires. While worship will be a vital part of our community’s life, it will not be the end all of our church. Rather, it will be an expression of all of our community gathering together to celebrate as a church family.

We envision a church filled with people committed to living God-centered lives of worship, passionate about Jesus Christ and his glory.

Community With Believers

We see a church that is committed to faithfully living as a community of God’s people in the Houston area. They will be more concerned with faithfully living out the Gospel as missionaries in their neighborhood, workplace, school, family and relationships than they are with building a religious organization. They will understand that church is what they are, not an event that they go to on Sundays.

We see people of many races, ages, and backgrounds living life and seeking God together. We dream of a day when hundreds of community groups meet together regularly throughout the city to pray, explore God’s Word, share a meal, celebrate and help their neighbors come to know the power of Jesus at work in their lives.
